Ottawa

Went to visit one of my friends in Ottawa, the capital of Canada. Saw the Ottawa University and saw a couple of there music concerts for christmas. Went on a tour of the parliament buildings they base a lot of there systems on Britain as a lot of the street names are familiar, in the summer they even have a changing of the guard cermony.

Toronto

Toronto has an underground Path system that means in the Winter you don't need to walk outside which is good because it is freezing, woke up one morning and looked out the window and the place was covered in snow. When to the Hockey Hall of Fame and saw the Stanley Cup, the trophies here are so much more impressive than the ones we have. Got to play interactive games practise my shooting and goalkeeping - I think that i need some practise when i get back before i play any games! We went for dinner at the 360 degree restaurant at the top of the CN tower which was strange to be moving around in a circle all of a sudden you would notice and it made you feel dizzy! It was really bad weather outside so didn't get to see anything, it looked as if there was a white blind covering the windows!

Montreal

It is a cool city, really like it. Half the town speak French and it is amazing the way people can switch between different languages. The Old town is really beauiful and it would a great place to walk around in the summer.

Nigara Falls

Is a place that you only go for at the most one day, i wouldn't even stay over night. We where there for 2 days and there is not a lot to do especially when it is out of season. The falls are amazing and they light them up at night. The main street downtown reminded me of Blackpool.

New York

So last time i went to New York i didn't really like it but this time it was better, i think it was because i was only there for a few days. Everything was set up for xmas, all the shops where decorated and it was really good much better than our shop windows. When up the Empire State Building at night which was good but freezing ended up with the cold!
